Claire Rose chairs Shepherd by the Sea's Mission Committee, our church administrative body, which deals with worship, management, outreach.
We are pleased to announce that as of August, 2023, the Rev. Portia Hopkins has joined Shepherd by the Sea as our new Episcopal Advising Minister. Rev. Portia continues in her capacity leading the The Belfry, the Lutheran Episcopal Campus Ministry at the University of California, Davis.
The Rev. Dr. Moses Penumaka is Shepherd by the Sea's Lutheran Advising clergy person. Rev. Moses is a faculty member at Pacific Lutheran Seminary in Berkeley, where he is Director of Theological Education for Emerging Ministries [TEEM]
